What is foot drop, and how does this help?
Foot drop is difficulty lifting the front of the foot, often due to stroke, nerve damage or muscle weakness. LiftStep™ provides external support to help lift the foot during walking, which may help reduce tripping and improve gait stability. It is a supportive aid, not a treatment for the underlying condition.
Is this suitable for stroke or hemiplegia patients?
Yes. LiftStep™ is designed with one-handed operation in mind, making it easier to use for people with limited strength or mobility on one side of the body.
Will it fit in my regular shoes?
Most users find it fits comfortably in athletic shoes and wider everyday footwear. It may not fit well in narrow or dress shoes, so please check the inside width of your shoe if unsure.
Do I need a doctor's approval to use this?
We recommend consulting your doctor or physiotherapist before use, especially if you have an existing treatment plan, as they can advise whether this fits into your specific recovery needs.
Can I wear it all day?
Comfort varies by person. We suggest starting with shorter periods and gradually increasing wear time, taking breaks if you notice discomfort or skin irritation.
Is it adjustable for different foot sizes?
It comes in sizes M, L and XL, and the airbag pressure and strap let you fine-tune the fit. Use the size guide (foot circumference) to choose: M 8.71–9.6 in, L 9.61–10.6 in, XL 10.61–11.7 in.
Will it work for both left and right foot?
Each brace is made for one foot. Please select Left or Right when you order. To support both feet, add one Left and one Right brace to your cart.
How do I put it on with one hand?
Place the brace into your shoe, put your foot in, insert the buckle with one hand and check the lock, then fasten the strap and press the airbag to inflate until snug. Press the release button to deflate.
What if it doesn't fit or help my specific condition?
